<![CDATA[The Second Skills Camp of 2023 and 2024 Kickoff]]>Sat, 06 Jan 2024 20:41:07 GMThttp://qbranchrobotics.com/team-updates/the-second-skills-camp-of-2023-and-2024-kickoff Hello! Today, January 6th, 2024 Q Branch logs back in to tell YOU about our second skills camp and our kickoff day. Our second skills camp is all about preparing new and old members for the work we do during the build season as each of the captains takes the lead in getting their new members accustomed to the tools and resources used. This ensures that the new members can participate and keep up with the subteam they’re assigned to.

Then comes kickoff day, which is when the team gathers together to watch the newly released game video and go over game rules with the manual. We then play a mock version of the game using human players to decide the most important scoring and mechanical aspects. We give a special thanks to team 3658, the Robo-Beavers, for joining us this year; and, as always, thank you for tuning in. Be sure to keep up with our social media as we post frequent updates on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. See you at districts, and remember, “This is How We Robot.
